Virtuosi di Budapest
This special virtuoso ensemble has been founded in 2014 and led by excellent violinist Sandor Javorkai.
The ensemble has a special repertoire which consists of the masterworks of the famous composers as Paganini, Liszt, Brahms, Sarasate, Khachaturian, Dinicu, Monti and others.
The ensemble invites for the cooperation also some top musicians.
The first concert of Virtuosi di Budapest has been at the world known International music festival in Cesky Krumlov in summer of 2014. The ensemble prepares the concert tour in Czech Republic and Slovakia in 2015. The concerts in Asia are being negotiated.
Violinist Sándor Jávorkai played as a soloist with renowned orchestras such as Berlin Symphony, Dresden Philharmonic, Sinfonietta Baden, Savaria Symphony Orchestra, Budapest Philharmonic, Belgrad Philharmonic and many others.
Concert travels have led Jávorkai throughout Hungary, Italy, Spain, Germany, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Romania, Russia, Holland, Austria, Greece, England, Malta, Norway, Turkey, Japan, Colombia, Tunisia, Egypt and Israel. Sándor Jávorkai has performed at important concert halls such as the Vienna Konzerthaus, the Berlin Konzerthaus, the Luxembourg Philharmonic, the Sava-Centar in Belgrade, in the “Forbidden City” in Beijing, the Warsaw Philharmonic and Opera City in Tokyo. He has performed at the Schleswig-Holstein Music Festival, the Spring Festival in Budapest and at the Spring in Russia Festival in Moscow. Sándor Jávorkai performed to great success at a gala concert in the Vienna Konzerthaus with Roby Lakatos, Rolando Villazón, Julius Drake, Michel Camilo and other well-known musicians.
Sándor Jávorkai was awarded with the first prizes in numerous international competitions. He is also primarius of Mozarthaus Vienna String Quartet.
